Your Responsibilities
- Order Management - Monitoring both outbound and inbound order data in OMS and WMS and working with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners to communicate and instruct properly.
- Inventory Management - Maintaining optimal stock levels and preventing stockouts to ensure efficient inventory control.
- Partner Management - Managing warehouse and carrier partners by having regular meetings with them to review the orders and inventory, improving the process, explaining new products and the operation process and making meeting minutes both in Japanese and English.
- Outbound Shipping Documentation - Preparing export shipping documents and packing instructions to facilitate efficient and smooth deliveries.
- Document Handling and US Requests - Managing document and information requests from the US & Tokyo branch and providing accurate and timely responses.
- SOP Management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational processes and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide team members.
Your Skills
- Proficiency in using various tools, including G-Suite, Slack and Shopify.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy in document handling, inventory management and compliance-related tasks.
- Excellent communication skills
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Preferred previous experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar role but not required.
- Preferred previous experience in operations, procurement or a related field, demonstrating an understanding of inventory management, shipping processes, and supplier negotiations but not required.
- Proficiency in Japanese AND English is required.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site at our Osaka warehouse.
